Summary
The project deals with nuclear technologies, several goals are part of its solution. The first aim is the development of dissimilar metal graded joint involving additive manufacturing in combination with the appropriated post-processing treatments (e.g. laser shock peening and hot isostatic pressing) and verification its properties via destructive and non-destructive tests.
The second one is focused on the development and verification of suitability of composite binders, or corresponding systems, for repairs of welded joints in NPPs.
As the third aim is to verify the using advanced laser technologies for welding in NPPs.
