Summary
The presented project is focused on applied research and experimental development (a) a new concept of a steam generator for cogeneration units at a waste energy utilization facility (ZEVO). The aim is a concept of a steam boiler for waste incineration, which would exclude the chloride corrosion of the steam superheater, while respecting the requirement for cogeneration of electricity and heat generation. b) a new concept of Power-to-Heat electricity storage facility capable of delivering both peak energy from accumulated energy and heat, in conjunction with a developed CHP plant for ZEVO. The goal is a high-pressure hot water electric accumulator that delivers peak electricity with a capacity of about 500 to 1000 kW for one hour.
