Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has another faculty school

The family of the current "faculty schools", Střední průmyslová škola, Ostrava – Vítkovice and Střední průmyslová škola, Obchodní akademie a Jazyková škola s právem státní jazykové zkoušky, Frýdek-Místek, was expanded by the Střední škola – Centrum odborné přípravy technické Uherský Brod.

The awarding of this title is a thank you for the long-standing cooperation in teaching the study field of Hunting, Sporting and Defence Weapons and Ammunition [cz], which can be studied in the bachelor's degree in a combined form at the SŠ-COPT.

The Dean, Robert Čep, and the Vice-Dean for Bc. and Mgr., Vojtěch Graf, presented the Director, Hana Kubišová, with a certificate and a sign on the facade of the building ahead of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the start of the course, the celebration of which will take place next year.

The awarding of the designation follows a memorandum on mutual cooperation and support for technical education in the Uherský Brod micro-region signed last year between the FME, the SŠ-COPT and Česká zbrojovka.
