Gold medal for cooperation with a Vietnamese university

The management of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering VSB-TUO awarded a gold medal for building and deepening mutual cooperation to the Rector of Ton Duc Thang University during a working trip to Vietnam. Interestingly, the current head of the university, Dr Tran Trong Dao, is one of the most significant graduates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The ceremony took place on the campus of the university, which is based in Ho Chi Minh City.

The visit to Ton Duc Thang University and the awarding of the gold medal was part of a tour around Vietnamese universities to establish new and deepen existing cooperation in education and scientific research. We believe that the cooperation recently confirmed by the gold medal will continue to develop in the form of joint study programmes at all levels of study and in the joint building of the Faculty of Technology at the Ton Duc Thang University.
