Another graduate's footprint adorns the Walk of Fame in front of VSB-TUO

The ceremonial act of unveiling the footprint was moderated by doc. Sylva Drábková from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of VSB-TUO, whose graduate Mr. Bartoš was. The rector of the university, Professor Václav Snášel, gave the opening speech. The Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Professor Robert Čep then explained how important Mr. Bartoš was - not only in the context of VSB-TUO, but also in the context of the development of science and research and industry in the region.

The actual unveiling of the footprint was then undertaken by the Rector of the University. Mr. Bartoš's family was present at the ceremony, and his wife received flowers and other tributes for her late husband, which the engineer, who passed away last year in March, unfortunately did not receive.
