The team RoverOva consisting of PhD students and students of our department (R. Pastor, A. Vysocky, P. Siroky, D. Heczko, D. Huczala, P. Oscadal, L. Kana, J. Mlotek, D. Vrbka, J. Jochec, Z. Zeman) participated in the European Rover Challenge 2018 international (worldwide) mobile robots contest with the K3P4 robot and achieved an excellent 5th place out of 65 teams, although it was the premiere for our team. In addition, the team received a special jury prize for an overall active and positive approach to the competition, a good robot design and at least partial completion of all assigned tasks.
