Laboratory of Unconventional Forming Methods (RF101): The research activity in this laboratory is focused on forming under conditions of multiple plastic deformation SPD (Severe Plastic Deformation). It houses the DRECE (Dual Rolls Equal Channel Extrusion) experimental facility, which processes semi-finished products in the form of sheet metal strips up to 2 mm thick or wire up to 8 mm in diameter. The material processed is non-ferrous metals and their alloys (based on Al and Cu) as well as steel sheets (DC01, DC03, DD11, S235, IF Steel, C55, etc.). The laboratory also contains a work bench, a vice, and small tools for sample preparation.
